Don't worry I shan't bore you with my life story!!
Just a bit about how I got to where I am and how I plan to move forwards.
I qualified as a Nursery Nurse and spent 15 years as a Nanny working with various families and took many pictures of the children over the years with my trusty camera with me most of the time.
I started out with the good old Kodak film cameras - cheap as chips but expensive to get developed. I used to borrow my Mother's camera, we have books of albums with hundreds of photos, one thing we don't need to worry about anymore is storage.
At 21 my Dad bought me my first Canon film camera (digital didn't really exist then, this was 1998)..... I used that camera for 10 years and it served me well. It took me through my Art and Design course when I went back to college at the age of 26.
I planned on going on to do an HND in photography after finishing my course but life took me on a different path and it never happened. I stayed in my Nannying positions until I decided to change my job in 2008.
My job hunting didn't go that well and I ended up working with my then partner (now husband) running his motorcycle business.
I have worked hard over the years to step back and forge out my own career doing something I love. My work is my pride and joy and I look forward to creating some beautiful pieces next year for some marvellous clients.
